Sundance Saddlery is based in Black Diamond, Alberta, Canada. the Town of Black Diamond is just outside of Calgary and only 35 minutes SW of Spruce Meadows.
Sundance Saddlery is owned by Donna Bassett. Donna is a Trained Saddle Fitter, air flair adjuster and rider with over 25 years of competitive riding. She has trained with the British Horse Society to become a qualified Trainer in the UK. Donna's saddle-fitting experience comes from working with some of the best Master Saddlers! With her combination of knowledge, training and riding expertise she can provide everything you and your horse needs for a safe, enjoyable and comfortable riding experience!
We are currently displaying a large selection of Black Country Saddles made by Master Saddlers in the UK.
We specialize in WOW saddles, an adaptable modular saddle with interchangeable seats, flaps, panels and headplates. Our trained saddle fitter is able to make any adjustments you require.
Our size and measuring guides are prominently displayed on our website next to relevant products and will help you gauge the correct size and fit for almost every product we sell. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have questions!
In addition, we offer in-house saddle re-flocking and tack repair as well as a drop-off location for horse blanket cleaning services. Our contacts with saddleries in both Canada, USA and UK provide us with a hugh net to cast in the search for the right products for you!
Saddle Fitting
Remember, just like humans, horses change in shape and size throughout their life! Saddles should be professionally fitted to your horse on a regular basis.

Donna our Saddle Fitter is happy to visit you and your horse at your barn (callout charges apply) or you can come to us.
We recommend checking the fit of your saddle at least once a year. Horses change shape dependant on changes in diet, fitness, environment, regime, injury or illness. Changes in any of these areas might affect how your saddle fits, your horse's comfort and ability to perform not to mention your own comfort & stability.
